What is On-site Shared Support?
Liverty Housing’s model includes access to an on-site shared support provider.
- The On-site Shared Support provides 24/7 shared support to the SDA tenants. The On-site Shared Support has their own separate apartment, ensuring that tenants:
- Maintain their own privacy and independence,
- Having safety and confidence knowing that support is only a call away!
Tenants can call for assistance from the on-site support provider as required using communication devices such as:
- Wall buttons
- Pendant alarms
- Voice activated call alarms etc.
The 24-hour on-site shared support will be provided by one SIL provider. Tenants will help choose this provider by consensus, providing choice and control over their support.
