Chris Leptos AO

Chris Leptos AO was appointed Non-Executive Director of Summer Housing in August 2022, and shortly after was elected Chair. He is an advisor to a range of commercial and not-for-profit organisations including Non-Executive Director of IDP Education Ltd and Chair of the Summer Foundation. His previous roles included Chairman of the National Heart Foundation of Australia Deputy Chair of Flagstaff Partners, a member of the Advisory Board of The University of Melbourne Faculty of Business & Economics, and the Advisory Council of Asialink. He was previously a Senior Partner with KPMG and Managing Partner Government at Ernst & Young where he had national responsibility for leading the public sector practice, and earlier he was General Manager of Corporate Development for Western Mining Corporation. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the AICD.
 
In 2000, Chris was designated a member of the of the Order of Australia for services to business and the community, and in 2022 was designated an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the not-for-profit sector, to the public sector, and to education.
