Kat Mangamu
General Manager Tenant Experience
Kat brings a wealth of knowledge stemming from her work in disability over the last 15 years. She has held executive positions across both not-for-profit and private sector with a focus on supporting people with disability to access housing that really works for them. Kat firmly believes home is the foundation for everything that we do. She is highly motivated and committed to collaborating with tenants and enhancing their housing experience.
In addition to other certifications, Kat has a Graduate Certificate in Project Management and an Advanced Diploma in Disability.

Renata Cubas
Governance & Quality Coordinator
Renata has substantial legislative and policy compliance, project and data experience having worked in NFP, government and private organisations. More recently, Renata worked in multiple projects with responsibility for governance and compliance. She is naturally curious and values continuous learning and improvement. She holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice and currently completing a Bachelor of Laws.

Danielle Wakefield

Danielle has over 27 years experience working within the Community services sector – working within the disability and housing sector. She has mostly worked within the NGO space but also in local government as well as within the NDIS, managing local area coordination. Danielle is very passionate about people and the community services sector with love of providing true person centred practices and support to the people that she works with, to ensure that they are able to achieve their goals to be able to live their best lives.

Jennifer Merriman
Tenancy & Property Specialist – ACT
Jennifer is located in Canberra and has over 25 years experience in business, finance and operations management in the NFP community sector, mainly in disability and mental health as well as the private sector. She has worked closely in the past with ACT Government and implemented the NDIS for provider organisations as well as participants when first rolled out in the ACT. Jennifer is responsible for connecting with organisations, hospitals, individuals and networks to generate interest and applications for properties in her region. Meeting with applicants to understand individual needs is a key part of her role and ensures that people are matched with appropriate properties. Jennifer’s background as an executive director of a not-for-profit assistive technology provider, and her management experience in business provide an excellent springboard for the role at Summer Housing in the ACT. She thrives on helping and supporting people, often through challenging times they are facing, and is passionate about assisting applicants and new tenants to feel supported in their new homes.

Taylah Sofele
Engagement Specialist – VIC
Taylah brings over 6 years of leadership experience across various industries, including real estate, finance and youth justice. Passionate about adding value to the lives of others, Taylah is committed to using her expertise to enable high-quality accommodation and independent living for all.
Cristina Valente
Engagement Specialist – NSW
Cristina’s passion is working with vulnerable people in organisations that aim to make a difference in society. She holds 5 years’ experience in the social services sector with expertise in working with people at risk of homelessness. In such work environment, Cristina had the opportunity to assist people to achieve their independent living goals, offer tenancy facilitation and to develop strong advocacy skills. Prior to these experiences, she worked in the Communications sector acting as Public Relations consultant for 15 years.


Sarah Yoo
Engagement Specialist – QLD
Sarah is a dedicated and resourceful NDIS professional with over 8 years of experience within the disability sector. Sarah has experience in NDIS project management, sales management, support coordination and nursing. Sarah's passion is assisting people to live as independently as possible while feeling safe and happy in their home and communities. Sarah also believes in an inclusive community where people with disability can live their life to the fullest with the adequate level of support.
Phillip Harris
Property Coordinator
Originally from the UK, Phillip moved to Australia with his wife and their 2 children, 12 years ago. Phillip worked in facilities and project management for non-for-profit organisations in Australia and has previously worked in social housing in London. Phillip is passionate in his role, to improve people lives with disability and to deliver new SDA accommodation.


Angus Stirling
Senior Development Manager
Before joining Summer Housing, Angus worked for Lend Lease Building working on a range of projects from residential and commercial high-rise projects to award winning public and private health projects and most recently Melbourne Olympic Park. Housing and its impact personally and socially has always fascinated Angus. As a student he worked in facility management in aged residential care and undertook a social housing research project with the objective to attract teachers into rural Indian villages.
Bahar Farhang
Accounts Payable Officer
Bahar Farhang is an accountant with over 6 years’ experience. Previously she has worked as an account officer and assistant accountant in the retail and community service sector. She has the passion to use her expertise as the Account Payable Officer to support our team in empowering people with disabilities and bringing them an equal living opportunity.


Pramit Baweja
Financial Accountant
Pramit is a qualified professional Accountant and Manager with over 10 years’ experience in all accounting, finance and systems functions within the Insurance and Construction industries. Pramit has extensive expertise in process improvement, development and delivering business efficiencies. Pramit plays the key role in delivering solutions to solve complex problems and implement change which will assist in propelling Summer Housing forward using technology and relationships. Pramit’s responsibilities also include Financial Reporting and operational support to the Finance team.
Jessica Burke
Executive Assistant
Jessica has extensive experience in high level executive support and her compassion for others encouraged her to move to the non-for-profit sector. She has worked in various administrative, customer service and leadership roles, across a range of industries. She currently provides support to the CEO and Executive Team at Summer Housing, as well as general administrative support to the wider team.


Sonia Faiz
Assistant Accountant
Sonia is finance officer with over 10 years’ experience, specialising in AR, AP and NDIS Claims. Her industry experience extends over Manufacturing, Building Consultancy, NFP & NDIA. Sonia works closely with finance team on the reporting of financial information, system improvements and providing business support services to senior management teams and interdepartmental business units. Sonia’s aim is to ensure business is cash flow positive.
